Padel

Padel is a racket sport and typically played in doubles on an enclosed court roughly 25% smaller than the size of a tennis court. Scoring is the same as normal tennis and the balls used are similar but with a little less pressure. The main differences are that the court has walls and the balls can be played off them in a similar way as in the game of squash and that solid, string less bats are used. The height of the ball being served must be at or below the waist level.

The Racket:

The most obvious difference is that lower-weight padel rackets are easier to handle. They allow you to move the racket faster to get into the correct position in many situations on the court.

Professional Level:

The most important padel circuit is World Padel Tour (WPT), which started in Spain and has already reached international expansion visiting such countries as Portugal, Argentina, Dubai, Italy and the USA.
